ACTION 4 ANIMALS HAWAII
ADOPT A DOG!
A4A Hawaii is committed to working with all our rescue partners throughout Hawaii Island.
Featured Pup of the month!
Phenomenal Flint is our longest shelter-stay dog. Please help us fulfill our goal of finding him a home by the end of October❤️. Flint just graduated from Aloha Dog Academy!! Flint likes to walk with friends but would do better living as a solitary dog. He needs time to recharge as he is a bit anxious. His perfect home would be with a fenced yard or several walks a day with someone who is home fairly often as he does not like being alone. Since he is a lapdog, a couch would be ideal😁. He does not like cats or chickens. He likes car rides so would be happy doing errands with you. Fun Fact: he was named after Jane Goodall's famous chimpanzee Flint who also did not like being alone. If interested in fostering or adopting Flint please contact us at : a4ahawaii@gmail.com or click on his name on our website.

Rainbow Friends
A4A Hawaii is focusing on the "Emptying the Sanctuary" campaign at Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary. We bring Rainbow dogs to our adoption events, we give them basic training, and a select group of dogs are part of our fly-outs to the continental US and Canada where they have more opportunity to find furever homes. Several dogs have participated in the University of Hawaii at Hilo's Pet Therapy Program which was launched in Spring 2023 and was a huge success with students and staff. A4A sponsors all of the Rainbow dogs we take under our 'paw" so any donations help tremendously in all that we do to make them more adoptable.
Contact us today about adoption.
